JUDGE – MR CALLUM MACKAY (CALJAN)

Firstly, I would like to thank the officers and committee for inviting me to judge the Open Show and for their warm hospitality, I thoroughly enjoyed the day.

Class 1 – Minor Puppy Dog
1st – Brown & Hutchings – Mirak Poseidon at Winuwuk
R/W Male tall in appearance, pleasing head, nice dark eye, good arched neck into gentle sloping top line, good front angle would like a bit more bone and rear angulation, moved well.

2nd – Hawkins – Gabriegem Trojan Prince
R/W Male well grown for age, nice head with good ear set, good width of muzzle, lovely dark eyes, misbehaved for his handler which let him down.

Class 2 – Puppy Dog

1st – Brown & Hutchings – Winuwuk in the name of Lust
B/W Boy nice square outline, good clean head with dark eyes, good width of muzzle, evident stop, well arched neck into good topline and tail-set.  Good depth of chest and tuck up, would like to see a bit more rear angulation, moved well BPD & BPIS.

2nd – Ames – Marbleview Phantom Menace at Thenamy
Solid Brindle, well grown boy, pleasing head and eye, evident fore chest, good arched neck and sloping topline into good tail-set, good front and rear angles, moved well once settled.

Class 3– Junior Dog

1st – Burnett –Sushe too cool to fool
13 Months B/W Dog, good square outline, lovely head piece, pleasing eye and expression, evident stop and correct width of muzzle, evident fore chest with good front and rear angles, moved well.

2nd – Coward – Barnsgate Eagled Eyed Ernie
R/W Boy heavier set than 1, nice head piece with good width of muzzle, evident chin good crest of neck, evident fore chest and nice tight feet, just needs a bit more rear angulation, moved well.

Class 4– Novice Dog

1st – Bole – Harvlin Hot Toddy
B/W Male stood alone in this class, very nice appearance, square out line, excellent headpiece with good rise of skull, evident stop, pleasing eyes and mouth.  Pleasing arch of neck into correct topline and tail set, good tight feet, excellent rear angles, moved well.

Class 5 – Debutant Dog

Class 6 – Graduate Dog

1st – Mitchell – Diceulon Daiquiri
Golden B/W well bodied male of good proportions, lovely head piece with good ear set lovely dark eyes, good width of muzzle and correct mouth, lovely arched neck into correct topline and tail set, evident fore chest with good front and rear angles, correct tight feet moved well, close decision in the final line up.

2nd – Wild – Hipkins that suits Carwilyd
R/W Boy another good sized dog, longer cast than 1, very clean head, good mouth, nice front and rear angles, moved well.

Class 7 – Limit Dog

1st – Peck – Manic keep it real for Enesha
B/W Boy excellent well bodied with lovely head piece, good rise of skull, dark eyes, correct width of muzzle and mouth.  Lovely flowing neck into gentle sloping shoulders, topline and tail set. Evident fore chest with good lay back of shoulder, good depth of chest into correct tuck up.  Powerful rear quarters which he put to advantage on the move for his handler, pleased to award him BD and RBIS.

2nd – Brown & Hutchings – Winuwuk Danny Mac
Taller solid Brindle, nice head piece with god width of muzzle, nice front with good depth of chest and tuck up, nice topline and tail set, just lacked the presence and quality of 1.

Class 8 – Open Dog

1st – Robinson – Gravity pulls to Robinsteck
Lovely R/W male of good proportions, nice head piece with good rise of skull, nice dark eyes, evident stop and good width of muzzle with correct mouth.  Nice neck which flows into gentle sloping topline and correct tail set.  Evident fore chest with correct front angles, good depth of chest into nice tuck up, good rear angles which propelled him on the move, pleased to award him RBD.

2nd – Mitchell – Diceulon the desperado with Winuwuk
Taller R/W Male, thicker set than 1, pleasing head piece with good stop and width of muzzle, good fore chest with correct front and rear angles, moved well.

Class 9 – Special Open Dog or Bitch

1st – Bole –Harvlin Rosie  May
Solid Brindle Girl with pretty head piece and nice shaped dark eyes, evident fore chest with good front and rear angles, correct topline and tail set, moved well.

2nd – Bruce – Ruption Knightcott Sweety
Dark Red Brindle with a lovely expression, good width of skull and expressive eyes, good lip placement, evident fore chest with good front and rear angles, good depth of chest and tuck up, moved well.

Class 10 – Good Citizen Dog or Bitch

1st – Tonkin and Pellow –Odyssea de val de Cayone
Well bodied R/W Bitch with good head piece and dark eye, nice arched neck into sloping topline and tail set.  Evident fore chest with good front angles would prefer more rear angulation.

2nd – Pearn – Knightcott Ruption Bebop
Taller R/W Bitch and longer cast than 1, pleasing head and mouth nice dark eyes, powerful fore chest with good front and rear angles, moved well.

Class 11 – Veteran Dog or Bitch

1st – Burnett – Sushe too posh to push
B/W Girl, square in outline, nice head with pleasing dark eyes and good mouth, nice arch of neck and good topline and tail set.  Evident fore chest with good front and rear angles, moved well.  Pleased to award BVIS

2nd – Burnett & Kelly – Sarsbrook Fashionista
B/W Bitch smaller than 1, nice outline with pleasing head and dark eye, good width of muzzle, nice front and rear angles, in excellent condition, moved well.

Class 12 – Minor Puppy Bitch

Class 13 – Puppy Bitch

1st – Brown & Hutchings – Winuwuk Looking for Love
Pretty B/W Girl with lovely outline, nice expression with correct muzzle and mouth, lovely crest of neck into good topline and tail set. Nice tight feet, good depth of chest into nice tuck up, moved well. Pease to award BPB.

2nd – Keuch – Boese Dirty Dancing.
Dark B/W Girl, lovely outline and good head piece with lovely crest of neck into good top line and tail set, nice dark expressive eyes, good width of muzzle, evident fore chest with good front and rear angles, moved well.

Class 14 – Junior Bitch

1st – Weller – Hollijon Tooty Fruity for Geenawell
Well bodied dark B./W Bitch, super outline, stood out in this excellent class from the start.  Lovely head piece with dark almond shaped eyes, correct width of muzzle and mouth.  Lovely arched neck flowing into sloping top line and tail set, evident fore chest with correct front and rear angles, moved well. Very close in the lineup and pleased to award RBB.

2nd – Taylor & Lay – Taranut Tymline at Wivendene
Another quality dark B/W Bitch super outline, lovely head piece with dark eyes, good rise of skull and width of muzzle, evident fore chest with good front and rear angles, nice depth of chest with good tuck up very close decision on this class.

Class 15 – Novice Bitch

1st – Robinson – Chalards Love is in the Air at Robinsteck
R/W Bitch of nice proportions, good head piece with dark expressive eyes, evident stop and width of muzzle, arched neck flowing into good topline and tail set, nice fore chest with good front and rear angles, good moverl.

2nd – Clifton & Byrne – Sunhawk Norwatch Lucello at Jolegi
Dark B/W Bitch longer cast than 1, pretty head with nice dark eyes, good width of muzzle and mouth, evident fore chest with correct angles, moved well.

Class 16 – Depudant Bitch

1st – Marsden – Rikidee Miss bea Haven at Finity
B/W Bitch, pleasing head with evident stop, nice eyes, would like a bit more width of muzzle, nice flowing neck into topline, good depth of chest, moved well/

2nd – Pearn – Knightcott Ruption Bebop
Taller R/W Bitch and longer cast than 1, pleasing head and mouth nice dark eyes, powerful fore chest with good front and rear angles, moved well.

Class 17 – Graduate Bitch

1st – Brown & Hutchings – Winuwuk Spice Girl.
Super Dark B/W Girl, striking outline in top condition, strong head which went against her in the lineup, good mouth and chin, evident fore chest with good front and rear angles, well arched neck into flowing top line and spot on tail set, moved well.

2nd – Ashley – Cherryforge Quevega.
Dark Brindle Bitch with nice head piece, taller than 1 but nice outline, evident fore chest with good front and rear angles, moved well.

Class 18 – Limit Bitch

1st – Weller – Geenawell Glitz and Glamour
Substantial B/W Bitch, well off for bone, nice head piece with lovely dark eyes, evident stop and correct width of muzzle and mouth, evident fore chest with correct front and rear angles, strong neck with flowing topline and nice tail set, powered round the ring, another close decision in the lineup.

2nd – Spencer – Ashronsha Wildest Dreams
Lovely Dark B/W Bitch who I judged as a puppy where she played second fiddle to her litter sister, excellent square outline, lovely expressive head piece with correct muzzle and mouoth, lovely flowing arched neck into topline and tail set, evident fore chest, would have liked a bit more rear angulation where I am sure would be challenging her sister closer.

Class 19 – Open Bitch
1st – Spencer – Ashronsha Sweet Dreams
My star of the day, who I also judged as a puppy and was pleased with the way she matured, super square outline, excellent head with evident stop, good width of muzzle with correct mouth and lip placement.  Correct ear set lovely arched neck which flows into gentle sloping top line and bang on tail set, evident fore chest with correct front and rear angles, good tight cat feet, nice depth of chest in to good tuck up, no hesitation on awarding her BB and BIS. Well done.

2nd – Cobb – Topauley Wizards Mistress
R/W Bitch heavier set than 1, pleasing head with nice dark eye, good width of muzzle and mouth, good crest of neck into sloping topline, evident fore chest with good depth and tuck up.  Moved well.
