Dog Critique
I would like to thank the Officers and Committee of the London and Home Counties Boxer Club for the invitation to judge Dogs, their fabulous hospitality and providing me with my lovely helpful and knowledgeable steward Martyn Lovell. Also, to the exhibitors for a quality entry. Some general observations: Overall heads were excellent and an improvement on the last time I judged Boxers at this level, I found one or two with flat feet, however most had the required cat like feet with well arched toes. Forequarters were excellent, however one or two I found were short in upper arm. I did observe one or two lacking in muscle tone on hindquarters and lacking the required driving action when moving. I thoroughly enjoyed the day and I was delighted with my winners on the day whose quality was outstanding.
